Brooklyn Wildlife Area

Every time I've been there, it is empty which is soo nice for my pups! It is an out and back and takes us about a half hour in total. It is about a 15 minute drive from Oregon. I love this trail because about 3 minutes into the trail, you can't see any roads or houses, just prairie and marsh. Towards the end, the trail got a little muddy and had a few puddles but for the most part was dry and very accessible. Not many trees, so not very hammock friendly but a great hike to get some fresh air with no elevation. There are two parking lots for the Wildlife Area, but the out and back one is close to the intersection of Bellbrook and County highway D.

Nice and short but muddy towards the end which was a bummer. Very secluded which was great. Dogs are asked to be on a leash after April 15.
